Mechanical Design & Development

Nicola
Zacchei.

I work in industrial mechanical design, drawing on more than a decade of practical experience with mechanical systems, engines and manufacturing processes.

An approach built on experience

From workshop practice to industrial design.

My career began with hands-on mechanical work and gradually evolved towards design and development. That experience continues to shape how I approach technical drawings, mechanical assemblies and production-related problems.

01 / Design

2D & 3D Modelling

Technical drawings, component and assembly modelling, and documentation to support manufacturing activities.

02 / Experience

Mechanical Background

Practical experience in mechanical diagnostics, engine overhaul, machining and precision measurement.

03 / Development

Continued Learning

Professional work complemented by ongoing university studies in Industrial Engineering, mechanical curriculum.

Beyond a list of jobs

Experience that connects design with practice.

The purpose of this portfolio is to present not only the tools I use, but the technical perspective I have developed while working with mechanical components and production equipment.

A robotic arm designed around a simple constraint.

A 3D-printable mechanical design with Arduino Nano–based electronics and a total target budget below €50. Explore the current geometry in a genuine interactive 3D viewer.

Budget is a design target, not a verified final cost.
